August Round Up - 02 September 2007 - Back

Round up of some of the significant captures in August

Well the flooding and subsequent water quality issues seem to have affected many venues slowing down the August sport significantly, for instance Dinston Pastures has been very quiet. However some fish have been coming out.

Over on Frimley Nathan Bailey landed the awesome Charlie's Mate at 44lb 1oz, in a session that saw him bank a number of other 30lb+ fish.

Tol Pit's Plodder made a mid August appearance at the solid weight of 43lb.

One water that seems unaffected is Essex syndicate Cleverly Mere, a number of big fish making an appearance including Ringo at 46lb 1oz, Hendrix at 43lb 10oz and Tango at 41lb.

Hopefully things will pick up a bit in the September!!! Well done to those that have been ctaching though.
