It wasn't quite the sunny June envisaged. In fact it appears to have been the wettest one since noah got his feet wet and decided to open a floating zoo. Still didn't stop some great angling.
Over on Dinton it's been a fairly slow start but notably Tel made his mark on the venue with the awesome Sid/Pig at 51lb.
On the Yateley Car Park Heather made an early June appearance to Steve on his second season on the venue at 46lb. Arfur has also been out to the ever consistent Alex West at 42lb. Low for the big girl but obviously post spawning. Big Orange also made an appearance at the solid weight of 45lb 2oz to Rob. Most recently the Dustbin too at 44lb.
Something a bit special next: the Grey Mirror from Fen Drayton at 46lb to Rob Farrant. This fish is reported to have evaded capture from the rock hard cambridgeshire venue for 10 years.
Tol Pits awesome Plodder slipped up a the fantastic weight of 47lb 14oz in mid June to Mike. Earlier Lesters also graced the bank at 46lb 8oz.
Horton continues to do the goods. Notable the very special but bloody ugly Parrot to Horton regular Mick Krassos.
Down in Southampton the awesome Nutsey fish is up in weight at an impressive 49lb it seems.
Big weights seem the order of the day for many fish with London's finest the Royal Forty slipping up at 45lb 7oz to Luke Gray
There are also unconfirmed reports that the fantastic Black Mirror has been out at 52lb 6oz.
And finally can't not mention any commons. One of the Frimley big girl's Charlies Mate feel to Danny at 46lb.
The weather may have been crap but what a month for big fish!!!!!!
