Sad news that what is strongly believed to be the awesome Mary's Mate from Wraysbury 1 has been found dead.
This awesome fish came to fame alongside Wraybury's former British record Mary and became a target for many who angling at Wraysbury over the years. A beautifully proportioned fish, arguably one of the most stunning 40's in the land, and one who made the anglers fortunate enough to catch her over the years very happy. Sad news indeed. The level of decomposition suggests that the fish has been dead some months.
