News of the forthcoming English Carp Heritage Organisation's annual AGM and knees up.
The official and annual ECHO AGM and Celebration is now confirmed and will be taking place Saturday February 3rd!
The evening will kick off at 6pm with the official AGM, followed at 7pm by a grand charity football event in aid of Stoney and Friends. This has been organised by Steve Fantauzzi and will feature stair studded teams from across the world of carp angling playing against each other in an exciting five a side contest; all accompanied by a mouth watering Hog Roast.
At 9pm the evening moves indoors; we have secured the bar and seating for 150people from 6pm until midnight and Old-School and Yateley carp angling legend Mickey Gray will be entertaining us with his slide-show and carp angling tales and exploits. There will also be an opportunity to find out about and sponsor Team Yateley Angling for the London Marathon.
This promises to be an amazing evening; the chance to see some truly entertaining football, good food, a few refreshing drinks and superb entertainment; coupled with the opportunity to raise money for an amazingly good cause and to have your say on the running of ECHO; truly not to be missed!
Entry for the bar and Slide-Show will be FREE to all ECHO members and ?5 to non-members, attendance to the Football will be by donation to Stoney and Friends.
The venue is the Blackwater and Hawley Leisure Centre, Hawley Road/Fernhill Road, between YAC and Frimley (J4 M3).
