Bit of slightly bizarre news from Cemex Burghfield where a man dressed as a ninja has been spotted with a sword.
In the words of of Steve Parker on the Cemex forum:
"While walking round Burghfield Main Lake on Sunday weighing in fish for the pike match that was going on we spotted someone creeping up to one of the lads fishing in the corner of moulds point he was all dressed in black and it looked like he had a fishing rod under his arm. So I asked him for his ticket and he said that he was not fishing but he kept his back to me and after a few more words he turned around and he was dressed up in full ninja gear and what I thought was a fishing rod turned out to be a sword at this point I thought whoops and told him that I was going to check somthing on the point and if he had not gone when I got back I was giong to call the police and I moved swifty on and he left. I then called Neil Wayte told him and then called the police and I am still waiting for their call."
Whilst this has a slight comedy element a nutter with a sword is obviously of concern so if fishing the area it probably pays to be a bit vigilant.
