Century to produce Neville Stainless - 15 October 2007 - Back

Interesting news that Century, famous for their rods, are taking on the production of the Stevie Neville brand of stainless.

Century and Steve Neville are pleased to announce an agreement that Century will take over the manufacturing and distribution of Steve Neville's stainless steel products from 15 October 2007.

Steve has developed a cult following for his brilliantly engineered stainless steel carp angling products. Steve's demand has always exceeded supply and using Century's engineering facilities - the intention is to make the supply more accessible and allow Steve to concentrate more on development of new ideas in this field. Steve and Simon Chilcott of Century want to stress that Steve will still be responsible for the alarms side of his business and this continues as usual.

Steve said " I have seen their high standard of engineering and personally inspected the facilities that operate in accordance with the ISO 9001:2004 Quality standard. They meet with my full approval. Century will be able to carry forward what I started and service new markets in Europe that I have previously been unable to satisfy. Modern CNC machines are very precise and obviously operate at speeds that will service the higher volumes necessary to expand the distribution. Century have an established reputation in their field and substantial interest in stainless steel - you only need to look at some of their customised winch fittings to see the evidence"

Simon added " We have long admired Steve's designs and approached him some time ago - to explore some opportunities. Steve has inspected all the engineering facilities and each item in the range will receive his individual seal of approval before it goes into production"

The full range of Steve's stainless steel products will be rolled out over the next few months as production gears up.

Century will be distributing Steve's ranges through specialist tackle dealers.
