Big Barnet fish ends up in Thames

RDAA's Whistley Mill has lost it's biggest resident in the recent floods and it has since turned up in the Thames.

The fish was electro fished at 36lb by the Environment Agency under Kingston Bridge, during a fish survey. It was clearly lost from the lake during the flooding last month. A big loss for the lake and for the anglers chasing her on the ticket but no doubt an opportunity for the river anglers. Given the scale of the recent floods it is fair to say a number of fish have probably ended up in the Thames and will be interesting to see what else turns up there over the next few years
