Not much need to be said about the awesome Wraysbury that hasn't been already. Run by Cemex and former home of the now deceased Mary, formerly Britains biggest carp, this is a challenging venue with a capital C. A large water usually fished with the aid of a boat the stock is light and the old beasts hard to track down and catch without some proper graft. Some newer fish do swim in Wraysburys hallowed waters as well, and are showing impressive weight gains. (Be careful though chaps, Wraysbury has seen some terrible tragedy and boat use for angling requires great care).
